7-Eleven's Slurpee turns 40

on July (7) 11th no less.

In honor of the occassion, participating 7-Eleven stores will be giving out free Slurpees in 7.11 ounce cups. How cute.

I'd also like to point out that today also marks 7-Eleven's return to Manhattan with it's first store on 23rd and Park (too bad that's so far away from where I work and live). I'll get there eventually, but not today when I could get my favorite treat for free!
