Guy-dar

I am convinced that guys have guy-dar...you know, radar that alerts the guy who won't commit that you've started something great with someone new. Their radar spikes and as a result they actually call or contact you somehow.

You can't help but think back to a time when all you wanted was that one person to want to be with you. You finally come to terms that they aren't interested and it's time to move on to someone else. No sooner do you move on and begin to feel like you have everything you've ever wanted, when they try to force themselves back into the picture just to confuse you.

I'm learning this happens a lot...and not just to me! And there's really not much you can do about it, except maybe have a good laugh and realize you're with the person you are supposed to be with (at the time) and that other person will just have to wait until you are available again.

This was actually something I was thinking through about 6 months ago. But the real question lies in how that guy from your past 'ponies up' when you unexpectedly become available again. Only time will tell.
